Sanded chipboard, or particleboard, is a material obtained by hot pressing wood pulp mixed with binders (polymer glue). Chips and small particles of wood are used to make chipboard. Various chemical additives are used to protect the material from external influences.

What makes sanded chipboard different from traditional boards is that after drying, its surface is further processed on a sanding machine. The machine processes the entire surface of the board, making the surface smooth and even.
