Plywood can be divided into types:
Moisture-resistant plywood is plywood treated in a special way that allows it to resist moisture. To maximize the characteristics of moisture-resistant plywood, lamination is used.
FSF plywood (plywood produced with phenol-formaldehyde resin adhesive). FSF plywood is characterized by high wear resistance, mechanical strength and high moisture resistance. Plywood is one of the most common and popular types of plywood in the world and is used in construction, manufacturing and roofing.
Plywood FC (plywood, produced by gluing veneers with urea glue). It has less moisture-resistant characteristics and is used for interior decoration, furniture production, wooden packaging, and indoor construction.
FB plywood (plywood impregnated with bakelite varnish, which is glued together later). This type of plywood has maximum resistance to aggressive environments and can be used in tropical climates, high humidity and even under water.
BS plywood (plywood impregnated with bakelite glue, C – alcohol-soluble). This plywood has fantastic properties – ultra-high strength, resistance to aggressive environments, flexibility, elasticity, water resistance, does not rot, does not sour. It is also called aviation plywood because it was previously used only in aircraft and shipbuilding.
BV plywood (plywood impregnated with bakelite glue, B – water-soluble). This plywood has the same properties as the previous one, except for moisture resistance, since the adhesive used for gluing the layers is water-soluble.
